Bruce Exum, Jr. President, CEO and Co-Founder

Over a period of twenty (20) years Mr. Exum has taken AMC from a start-up residential marine contracting company building docks and installing boat lifts to a broad based general contracting firm currently involved in government contracts throughout the United States. Under his leadership the company has grown exponentially. In 2006 Virginia Business magazine listed AMC as one of the states Fantastic 50. The company’s growth continues as does the list of services AMC provides.

Today Bruce Exum Jr. provides continual oversight to all aspects of the company’s operations; with direct responsibility for all of the company’s contractual commitments. Marine construction remains a key ingredient in the company’s structure today, but over the course of the last eight years we have developed a site and utilities construction capabilities as well as building construction. Under Mr. Exum’s guidance AMC has evolved into AMC Companies. Atlantic Modular and AMC Metal-Building Company were formed to facilitate the parent company’s enormous growth in both aspects of the business.

Today, as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AMC Companies her responsibilities are the oversight of all aspects of the firms financial well being. Projections of future financial requirements, cash flow analysis’ and projections, management of financial assets, lines of credit and the financial criteria required for a strong bonding position are her primary duties.

Bruce Exum, Corporate Secretary/Treasurer and Co-Founder

For a number of years father and son worked together to establish sound footings for AMC Companies. Early on it became apparent that the company would be directed by the vision of young Bruce Exum, and Bruce Sr. was delighted to support, guide, encourage and assist his son. Bruce Sr. had operated successful small businesses for over thirty years and had volumes he could share to assist in the early years of AMC Companies.

Today, Bruce Exum, Sr. is actively engaged in the operation of AMC, and he is also enjoying much success in other ventures.
